PEDERNALES, BAHIA DE LAS AGUILAS

We have all heard of Punta Cana, Bavaro, Cap Cana, La Romana among other beautiful touristic places in the Dominican Republic. However, DR still stands with close to undiscovered "almost virgin" beaches waiting to be revealed and explored throughout the island. One of my ultimate favorite places to visit is called, Bahia de Las Aguilas, Pedernales. "Bahia de las Aguilas, is an 8 km long beach along the southwestern coast of the Dominican Republic in the province of Pedernales near the southernmost part of the border with Haiti" (Wikipedia). Describing this place "beautiful" is an understatement. Bahia de Las Aguilas is breathtaking, blissfully admirable, delightfully exotic. From blue waters, white sand, remarkable sunsets and indisputable creole food, you can have it all. The best thing that I personally LOVE about this place is how quiet yet joyful it is to spend time here. You are so far southwestern of the country you catch yourself captivated in the midst of nowhere but finding yourself right where you should be. From Campground tents, hotel rooms design as campsites to small private low budget hotel properties, whichever place you decide to lodge you will not be disappointed. The preferred airport is Gregorio Luperon Intl. Airport (POP): 148.1 mi/238.4 km. Distances from the property's location to the airport are straight-line distances and may not reflect the actual travel distance (Wikipedia). Traveling from and to there can be slightly tricky if you're not familiar with the area. However, I can help accommodate travel to and from this area, lodging, excursions and much more.
